Fast progression and an abundance of opportunities would be how I would sum up my career so far with Enterprise. My career began the summer of 2013. Through the partnership with Kingston University and Enterprise Rent a Car, I entered into a fast track procedure of interviews. During my branch interview, I was attracted to the fast paced industry and scope for development.
I started my career as a Management Trainee at the Aylesbury branch and within the first few months there was a lot to learn and take in but it was worth it. Within six months I had passed the Enterprise management qualification scheme and after seven months, I was promoted to assistant manager at a branch in St. Albans. When I became assistant manager, I really felt like I was managing my own business. It was down to me to ensure my customers were happy, drive revenue and reduce costs, duties I found very exciting and motivating. After six months as assistant manager in St. Albans, I was promoted to the flagship store: Heathrow Airport.
Heathrow Airport was a new and interesting opportunity for me. The promotion meant I was now working at Enterprise’s biggest flagship store in Europe. I went from working in a team of five to working in a team of fifty. Currently, I have my own team of five to manage and everything to do with their development and career is down to me. Being part of the Heathrow management team has exposed me to many different aspects of the business. I have always been very hungry and eager to progress and succeed, and I knew such a massive opportunity would really ignite my progression.

Enterprise is very good at networking events for women. In July 2014, I attended a ‘Women in Leadership’ event at my old university in Kingston upon Thames, where I presented and spoke to many young women. It was a brilliant opportunity for me and it was great to talk to young women and help break down many of their mental barriers and glass ceiling ideas.
Joining the company straight out of university, I had the opportunity to understand how the business works and see all the opportunities they had to offer. What other company will give you this much responsibility and progression in such a short period of time?
